So for the last 2 days now, I believe, it has been raining off and on up here. One of the Joys of being on the coast of Maine. Because of this rain coats and in some cases rain boots have been sported.
Last night ABC hosted another successful Open Mic night! This is certainly a display of how the MMA music seance is picking up. Not only do we have one student in a band called X-ray Actress. Who came up to MMA and played last week. Another very popular group on campus is Secondhand Satire, which consists of 4 Guys on campus who play cover songs on some local favorites and are quite a hit at both Open Mic Nights, So much that later this year ABC will be helping them present their very own show.
Besides the rain and the fog and all the fun stuff that comes along with that. Campus has been fairly quite. Personally I've just been running around trying to finish my Sr Research Project. Today I found out that I now appear on the Walla Walla College Marine Station website! For those of you who are unsure on what I am talking about. This summer I had the opportunity to go to Anacortes, WA and conduct my Sr. Research project. Without this project I am unable to graduate from my degree, so as one can imagine its a very big deal. Our projects are something that we as a student design. I spent all last semester coming up with my idea and working into a proposal, then spent the summer in Washington conducting the work and now am spending this semester writing up my results! A bit of a task but one that I will be VERY happy to be done with soon!
Well till next time..
